Una niña británica y su padre encuentran un gran fósil en una playa de Somerset, Inglaterra. Se trata de una mandíbula.
Los científicos dicen que es de una gran criatura marina. Se llama Ichthyotitnan severensis. Vivió hace 202 millones de años. Mide entre 22 y 26 metros de largo. Es tan grande como la actual ballena azul.
Los científicos encontraron otro fósil en 2016. Estos fósiles nos ayudan a comprender la vida en el mar hace millones de años. Sabemos que en aquella época vivían en el mar muchos animales diferentes. Pero hace unos 201 millones de años, una catástrofe los mata a todos.
