Se produce una gran explosión en el Parque Nacional de Yellowstone. Vapor, rocas y suciedad vuelan hacia el cielo. La gente se asusta. Huyen.
Nadie resulta herido. La explosión daña un sendero del parque. Los responsables del parque cierran la zona de Biscuit Basin. Los vídeos muestran agua y suciedad cayendo. Estas explosiones se producen cuando el agua caliente subterránea se convierte en vapor. Son habituales en Yellowstone. Ocurrieron antes en 1959, 1991 y 2009. Los minerales pueden bloquear una tubería subterránea.
Es difícil saber cuándo se producirán estas explosiones. Los trabajadores del parque y los científicos comprobarán si la explosión modifica la zona. Observarán el agua y el calor de los géiseres cercanos. No hay cambios en el volcán y el parque es seguro.
