Sistema de alerta pública del Reino Unido – nivel 1

El domingo 23 de abril a las 15.00 horas, millones de teléfonos del Reino Unido harán un fuerte ruido y vibrarán.

El gobierno probará un nuevo sistema de alerta. El sonido es como el de una llamada telefónica, pero durará 10 segundos. Será un sonido de advertencia. La gente no responderá a la llamada.

Sólo los teléfonos con 4G y 5G podrán recibir el mensaje. El gobierno te dirá que es una prueba. La prueba también tendrá lugar cuando se celebren grandes acontecimientos. Por ejemplo, la Maratón de Londres o partidos de fútbol. A algunas personas les preocupa que pueda distraer a los conductores. La prueba también podría mostrar dónde esconde la gente sus teléfonos. Esto puede no ser seguro para algunas personas.
