El deshielo en la Antártida mata a las crías de pingüino.
Las imágenes de satélite muestran que no hay hielo en diciembre. Es un gran problema para los pingüinos. Los pingüinos suelen incubar los huevos en hielo que se derrite en verano. Esto significa que no tienen donde criar. Cuando el hielo se derrite, mueren unas 9.000 crías de pingüino. No tienen dónde tener crías. Mueren 13 colonias de pingüinos.
El cambio climático agrava este problema. Casi el 30% de los pingüinos no tienen hogar el año pasado. El año pasado fue el peor de la historia.
