Apertura del Gran Museo Egipcio – nivel 2

Egipto inauguró el Gran Museo Egipcio cerca de las pirámides de Guiza. Tardó 20 años en construirse y costó unos mil millones de dólares, pagados en su mayor parte con préstamos japoneses.
El museo muestra muchos objetos antiguos y la colección completa de los tesoros del faraón Tutankamón. Líderes e invitados de muchos países acudieron a la inauguración, que contó con fuegos artificiales y drones en el cielo.
El gobierno espera que el museo ayude al turismo y aporte más dinero a la economía. Los habitantes de El Cairo dicen que es un motivo de orgullo y felicidad. El museo es uno de los mayores del mundo y muestra la larga historia y cultura de Egipto.
