El Gran Museo Egipcio ya está abierto cerca de las pirámides de Guiza, en Egipto. Es uno de los museos más grandes del mundo. Muestra muchas cosas bellas del antiguo Egipto.
Se tarda veinte años en construirlo y cuesta unos mil millones de dólares. Egipto pide prestado mucho dinero a Japón. En su interior, los visitantes pueden ver muchas cosas antiguas, por ejemplo, todos los famosos objetos de oro de la tumba del faraón Tutankamón.
El museo atraerá más turistas a Egipto y ayudará a la economía del país. Durante la inauguración, hay fuegos artificiales y luces en el cielo. Mucha gente viene a celebrar este momento especial para Egipto.
