Un marinero intentaba amarrar su embarcación cuando golpeó accidentalmente el acelerador. La embarcación empezó a moverse y arrojó al hombre por la borda.
La lancha, de seis metros de eslora, empezó a moverse en círculo. Por suerte, alguien vio la embarcación y avisó a los demás. La tripulación del bote salvavidas subió un cabo a la embarcación y consiguió reducir la velocidad.
El propietario de la embarcación llegó sano y salvo a la orilla, pero tuvo que ir al hospital.
