Las grandes serpientes oliváceas viven en el mar, cerca de Australia. La serpiente mide más de dos metros de largo. Es una serpiente venenosa. Venenosa significa que si la serpiente muerde a alguien, la persona puede morir.

Ahora es la época de reproducción de la serpiente. Las serpientes se vuelven muy activas. Buscan pareja.

Las serpientes confunden a los buceadores con sus parejas. Siguen a los buceadores. Se enroscan alrededor de sus pies. Atacan a las cámaras. Es muy peligroso. Las serpientes pueden atacar a los buceadores en cualquier momento.

La gran serpiente olivácea es un reptil. Los reptiles son animales de sangre fría, como una serpiente, un lagarto o un cocodrilo. Estos animales ponen huevos en la tierra, cerca del mar. La serpiente de olivo respira aire. Sin embargo, pasa toda su vida en el mar.
