El jefe de armas responsable de cargar una pistola para el actor Alec Baldwin, que disparó accidentalmente y mató a un director de fotografía en 2021, ha sido condenado a 18 meses de prisión.
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed fue declarada culpable de homicidio involuntario en marzo por cargar por error un cartucho cargado en el revólver utilizado por Baldwin en el rodaje de ‘Rust‘. Eras la armera, la responsable de garantizar la seguridad del arma, y sin embargo la convertiste en un arma mortal‘, declaró la juez Mary Marlowe Sommer durante la sentencia.
La pena impuesta a Gutiérrez-Reed supone la consecuencia legal más importante hasta el momento tras la muerte de Hutchins, un caso que ha suscitado gran atención en Hollywood y en todo Estados Unidos.
