Los directivos del fútbol americano tienen muchos problemas con los traumatismos craneoencefálicos que sufren sus jugadores. Los ex jugadores les demandan por problemas graves derivados de los traumatismos craneoencefálicos, como conmociones cerebrales, depresión y pérdida de memoria.

Ahora, las autoridades quieren prohibir los cascos de fútbol. Esperan que sin los cascos, los jugadores no se lesionen tanto. Sin embargo, otros dicen que esto es incorrecto porque seguirán produciéndose colisiones en un partido en el que los jugadores juegan chocando unos con otros.
