En Kenia, las inundaciones causan la muerte de al menos 170 personas. El presidente dice que en algunos lugares la población debe abandonar sus hogares. Se avecinan más lluvias. Es peligroso quedarse.
El ejército está ayudando a la gente a marcharse. En el Valle del Rift, al norte de Nairobi, una gran cantidad de agua destruye parte de un pueblo. Muchas personas mueren allí. Los equipos de rescate buscan cadáveres cerca de los ríos. Están retirando árboles y cosas del agua.
El gobierno se está preparando para ayudar más. Pueden decir que se trata de una catástrofe nacional. Pero de momento, sólo intentan poner a salvo a todo el mundo.
