Un juez estadounidense ha declarado que Google actuó ilegalmente para eliminar a su competencia y mantener el control de las búsquedas y los anuncios en Internet.
Esta noticia es mala para Alphabet, la empresa matriz de Google, y podría cambiar a las grandes empresas tecnológicas. El Departamento de Justicia de EEUU demandó a Google en 2020. Dijeron que Google controlaba el 90% del mercado de búsquedas online. Google paga a Apple y Samsung para ser el principal motor de búsqueda en sus dispositivos. Esto impide que otras empresas compitan.
Las acciones de Google frenan la competencia y la innovación. Las acciones futuras podrían acabar con los grandes acuerdos de Google, como el de 20.000 millones de dólares con Apple, y ayudar a las nuevas empresas, especialmente con la IA.
