El dirigente alemán Olaf Scholz viajó a China cuando las relaciones entre Europa y Pekín no eran muy buenas.
Tras reunirse con el primer ministro chino, hablaron de cómo ambos países necesitan hacer negocios entre sí. El presidente chino, Xi Jinping, advirtió de que no se hiciera nada que pudiera perjudicar al comercio entre China y Alemania. Alemania elaboró el año pasado un plan para no depender demasiado de China.
Scholz también habló de un ataque a Israel por parte de Irán, y dijo que todo el mundo debería calmarse. También habló de la guerra en Ucrania. Scholz afirmó que es importante ser práctico al tratar con China, pero no está claro si las cosas mejorarán.
