Un nuevo estudio ha analizado cientos de especies de aves en EE.UU. y Canadá y ha descubierto que casi un tercio de las aves han desaparecido de la mayoría de los biomas desde 1970. Es decir, casi tres mil millones de aves.
Según la revista Popular Science, se calcula que la tasa de extinción actual es 1.000 veces mayor que antes de la aparición de los humanos.
