Un estudio analizó cientos de tipos de aves en EE.UU. y Canadá. Descubrió que casi un tercio de las aves murieron en la mayoría de los biomas desde 1970. Es decir, casi tres mil millones de aves.
Según la revista Popular Science, la tasa de extinción actual es unas 1.000 veces mayor que antes de los humanos.
