Adam Driver, protagonista de la película “Ferrari”, desveló que no se le permitió conducir los icónicos coches de carreras Ferrari que aparecen en la película por motivos relacionados con el seguro.
Dirigida por Michael Mann, la película retrata un año crucial en la vida de Enzo Ferrari en 1957, en el que se enfrenta a retos empresariales, traumas personales y la rivalidad con Maserati en la pista de carreras. La película muestra emocionantes escenas de los deportivos rojos participando en la peligrosa carrera de carretera Mille Miglia en Italia. Aunque Driver no pudo ponerse al volante de un Ferrari, su coprotagonista Patrick Dempsey sí condujo réplicas exactas de los coches descapotables, a pesar de la falta de medidas de seguridad.
La película no sólo reprodujo los coches visualmente, sino que también captó sus sonidos auténticos, incluidos los de un viejo Maserati de carreras. Ferrari” compite por el León de Oro en el Festival de Venecia.
