Adam Driver, el actor principal de la película “Ferrari”, dijo que no podía conducir los famosos coches de carreras Ferrari utilizados en la película. El motivo era el seguro.
Dirigida por Michael Mann, la película narra la vida de Enzo Ferrari en 1957, donde se enfrenta a problemas empresariales, dificultades personales y rivalidad con Maserati. La película incluye emocionantes escenas de los deportivos rojos participando en la peligrosa carrera de carretera Mille Miglia, en Italia. Adam Driver no pudo conducir un Ferrari de verdad, pero su coprotagonista Patrick Dempsey condujo copias exactas de ellos.
La película no sólo muestra réplicas de los coches, sino que éstos también emiten el mismo sonido que los auténticos Ferrari y Maserati. Ferrari” compite por el León de Oro en el Festival de Cine de Venecia.
