Juegos Humanoides Mundiales – nivel 2

Pekín acogió los primeros Juegos Mundiales de Robots Humanoides con equipos de 16 países, entre ellos Estados Unidos, Alemania y Japón.

Los robots participaron en deportes como carrera, fútbol, danza y artes marciales. El objetivo no era sólo divertirse, sino también poner a prueba las habilidades de los robots, como el movimiento, la toma de decisiones y el control, que más tarde podrían ayudar en fábricas y hogares. China quiere convertirse en líder mundial en robótica humanoide y tiene un plan para construir esta industria antes de 2027.

Aunque se unieron algunos equipos extranjeros, el evento fue también una forma de promover la industria robótica china. Las empresas invierten miles de millones de dólares en robots, pero no todos tienen éxito. Los partidarios dicen que hacer que los robots parezcan humanos les ayuda a encajar mejor en la vida cotidiana, mientras que los críticos se preguntan por qué los robots deben parecerse a las personas en absoluto.
