La gente no sabe cómo conocer a alguien ni qué hacer cuando alguien les dice «no». Los teléfonos y las aplicaciones en línea cambian la forma en que la gente se conoce. La gente puede elegir pareja según criterios relacionados con el trabajo, los estudios o la altura. Estos criterios dificultan la búsqueda de pareja.

A algunas personas les gusta estar solas, pero muchas quieren una pareja. Algunas personas se sienten tristes o solas cuando no pueden conocer a la persona adecuada. Este cambio también modifica la vida. Las personas necesitan casas más pequeñas y tienen menos hijos. Los expertos no saben cuándo terminará esto.
