Calle Vieja de Varsovia – nivel 2

En Varsovia, la capital de Polonia, los obreros están construyendo una nueva plaza llamada Plaza Central. Estará lista el año que viene.

Los obreros encontraron viejas calles bajo tierra. La gente tiene la rara oportunidad de ver estas calles antes de que construyan allí nuevos edificios. La plaza tendrá plantas y un aire moderno, pero también quiere recordar el pasado. Cerca de la plaza hay un edificio alto, el Palacio de la Cultura. José Stalin regaló el edificio a la ciudad en la década de 1950. Hace mucho tiempo, la zona tenía muchas casas, pero desaparecieron durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. La nueva plaza tendrá el aspecto de las antiguas calles.

Los constructores encontraron las bases de los antiguos edificios, con piedras y vías para los tranvías. También encontraron una plataforma donde personas importantes veían los desfiles.
