Acuerdo de paz entre EE. UU. e Irán – nivel 3

El presidente de EE. UU., Donald Trump, ha anunciado que Washington ha alcanzado un acuerdo de paz histórico con Irán, con la mediación de Pakistán y Catar.

El acuerdo incluye el cese inmediato y permanente de las operaciones militares en todos los frentes, incluido el Líbano.

Según Trump, Irán se ha comprometido a no desarrollar armas nucleares y ha aceptado reabrir el estrecho de Ormuz para garantizar el suministro energético mundial. Aunque EE. UU. podría levantar las sanciones económicas, Trump ha descartado dar dinero en efectivo a Teherán. Aunque en un principio se había previsto una firma virtual, esta se retrasó después de que Israel intentara entorpecer el proceso. El primer ministro pakistaní anunció que la ceremonia oficial de firma tendrá lugar este viernes en Suiza.

Si se firma, el memorando de entendimiento dará inicio a un periodo de negociación de 60 días para resolver los problemas más espinosos, como las reservas de uranio enriquecido de Irán y su programa nuclear civil, a pesar de la profunda desconfianza entre ambas partes.
