El presidente estadounidense Donald Trump quiere reunirse con el presidente ruso Vladimir Putin en Alaska el 15 de agosto para hablar de la guerra. Trump habla de intercambiar tierras, pero Ucrania dice que no.
El presidente de Ucrania, Volodymyr Zelensky, afirma que Ucrania no cede tierras a Rusia. Dice que un plan de paz sin Ucrania no es una paz real. Putin quiere quedarse con cuatro partes de Ucrania. Zelensky quiere que primero cesen los combates. A Ucrania le preocupa que las conversaciones sin ellos sean malas.
Algunos líderes europeos están preocupados. Creen que Rusia quiere detener las sanciones, no la guerra. Ucrania dice que EE.UU. puede ayudar, pero debe mantener a Ucrania a salvo y cumplir la ley.
