Los dirigentes británicos y de la UE se reunieron en Londres, Reino Unido, para debatir cambios en el Protocolo sobre Irlanda del Norte.
El Protocolo establece el modo en que el Reino Unido y la UE harán negocios con Irlanda del Norte tras el Brexit, y está causando muchos problemas en la actualidad. El llamado Marco de Windsor introduce tres cambios en el Protocolo.
Habrá carriles Verde y Rojo para las mercancías que permanezcan en el Reino Unido y las que se trasladen a la UE. Todos los medicamentos que apruebe el regulador de medicamentos del Reino Unido estarán disponibles en las farmacias y hospitales de Irlanda del Norte. El último cambio es que algunos impuestos del Reino Unido se aplicarán en Irlanda del Norte.
