Ras Hankorab es una playa del sur de Egipto. Está dentro de un parque nacional y tiene agua clara, arena blanca y animales especiales como tortugas y corales.
El gobierno quiere construir allí pequeños hoteles y otros lugares para los turistas. A mucha gente no le gusta esta idea. El turismo es importante para el dinero de Egipto. El gobierno cree que más turistas ayudarán al país. Dicen que cuidarán la naturaleza cuando construyan estos nuevos lugares. También quieren comprobar que la naturaleza es segura.
Pero algunas personas dicen que el gobierno no preguntó a la población local antes de hacer esto. Muchos habitantes ya no pueden ir a la playa. Además, algunas personas perdieron sus pequeños empleos en el turismo. Los grupos ecologistas quieren que la playa siga siendo natural y limpia.
