Japón está preocupado por el impacto del exceso de turistas que visitan su sagrado Monte Fuji.
La montaña se enfrenta a problemas como la contaminación y la visita de demasiada gente. Las autoridades están pensando en tomar medidas contundentes, como construir un sistema de tranvías para limitar el número de visitantes. Aunque han intentado limpiar la zona, sigue habiendo problemas como baños sucios y basura en los senderos.
El monte Fuji se convirtió en Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO hace diez años, lo que lo hizo aún más famoso. Pero también hay normas estrictas relacionadas con esto. Japón debe reducir la masificación y los daños a la naturaleza. Las autoridades temen que la gente pierda el interés por la montaña si las cosas no mejoran.
