Hace tres años, Rusia invadió Ucrania, pensando que la guerra sería rápida. Pero ahora, ambos países y el mundo están sufriendo.
La guerra ha costado a la economía mundial 2,8 billones de dólares. Ucrania necesita más de 500.000 millones de dólares para reconstruirse. Los precios de los alimentos aumentaron, y Europa paga más por el gas porque Rusia vende menos.
Según la ONU, Rusia mató a 122.000 civiles ucranianos, y 3,7 millones tuvieron que abandonar sus hogares. Murieron unos 45.000 soldados ucranianos y 390.000 resultaron heridos. Rusia perdió más de 750.000 soldados, con hasta 172.000 muertos. También fueron destruidos miles de tanques, aviones y barcos.
Rusia controla ahora el 20% de Ucrania, pero muchas de sus ciudades están gravemente dañadas. Las ciudades ucranianas siguen sufriendo ataques, pero continúan funcionando. La guerra aún no ha terminado.
