El concurso se celebra en California. El concurso comenzó hace cincuenta años, y se celebra todos los años. Demuestra que el aspecto de un perro no importa. Muchos perros del concurso viven en refugios. Los refugios son lugares para perros sin hogar. La gente ayuda a estos perros a encontrar nuevos hogares. El concurso ayuda a la gente a saber que es bueno ayudar a los perros. El concurso es divertido. Demuestra que todos los perros son especiales a su manera.
La victoria de Petunia nos dice que está bien parecer diferente. El concurso enseña a la gente a ser amable con todos los perros.
