Un informe del Wall Street Journal sugirió que el virus COVID-19 se filtró de un laboratorio, y funcionarios estadounidenses apoyaron esta idea.
Pero la Organización Mundial de la Salud afirmó que aún no estaba claro de dónde procedía el virus. Un equipo de expertos de la OMS y China afirmó que probablemente el virus no procedía de un laboratorio y que era más probable que procediera de animales salvajes.
La OMS dijo que todas las opciones eran aún posibles y que China tenía que proporcionar más información. Hasta que China no se muestre abierta y coopere con los expertos, nadie podrá decir de dónde procede el virus.
