La gente que corre en el Maratón del Polo Norte se entrena, incluso en un barco. El barco está en movimiento, por lo que es difícil correr sin golpearse con las cosas. Un corredor dijo que les ayuda a acostumbrarse al frío antes de la carrera.
El Maratón del Polo Norte es muy frío y duro. Los corredores estarán sobre nieve y hielo. Una persona incluso bromeó sobre la posibilidad de que apareciera un oso polar durante la carrera.
Aunque no es fácil, los corredores están entusiasmados. Esperan que el recorrido sea bueno y largo. Quieren estar preparados para el frío y terminar la carrera con fuerza.
