Nueva York ya no es la ciudad más cara para vivir. Singapur y Zúrich ocupan ahora los dos primeros puestos.

Esto es según el índice EIU. Examina los precios de cosas como el transporte, el alquiler, la comida y el alcohol en 173 ciudades de todo el mundo. Ginebra, Nueva York y Hong Kong son también lugares muy caros para vivir. Los precios globales suben un 7,4% si los comparamos con los del año anterior. También suben los precios de los alimentos. Los precios de los viajes suben porque más gente quiere viajar después de la pandemia.

Para 2024, el EIU piensa que los precios subirán, los negocios se ralentizarán y la gente comprará menos.
