La UE investiga a Meta – nivel 1

Los líderes europeos están investigando a una gran empresa de informática llamada Meta. Esta empresa es dueña de Facebook e Instagram.

Los líderes dicen que la empresa hace que sus aplicaciones sean peligrosas para los niños. Creen que las aplicaciones hacen que los niños pasen demasiado tiempo mirando las pantallas. Además, la empresa permite que los menores de 13 años usen estas redes, lo cual va en contra de las normas de la UE.

El mes que viene, unos expertos ayudarán a elaborar nuevas normas para garantizar la seguridad de los jóvenes. En Estados Unidos, muchos padres están enfadados porque estas apps perjudican a sus hijos. Mucha gente está demandando a la empresa. Pero la empresa está pidiendo ayuda a los políticos para frenar a los padres.
