La situación en Goma no es segura. Los rebeldes controlan Goma desde 2025. El festival comenzó en 2014. Trata sobre la paz y la convivencia. Muchas personas en Goma se sienten tristes por el traslado del festival. Pero entienden que esto puede ayudar a que el festival continúe. El festival sigue queriendo hacer feliz a la gente.
