Los profesores de Rumanía protestan – nivel 3

11-02-2026 07:00 Miles de profesores y personal educativo rumanos protestaron contra los planes del Gobierno de recortar la financiación de la educación.

El Gobierno, liderado por el primer ministro Ilie Bolojan, aprobó medidas de austeridad para reducir el déficit presupuestario. Entre ellas se incluye un recorte del 10 % en el fondo salarial de las instituciones públicas, lo que, según los profesores, perjudicará a las escuelas y universidades. Los manifestantes argumentaron que la educación ya recibe menos dinero, y los rectores de las universidades advirtieron que estos recortes limitarán el desarrollo y la investigación. Algunos compararon Rumanía con Ucrania, donde el gasto en educación ha aumentado incluso durante la guerra, y cuestionaron por qué Rumanía hace lo contrario. Los sindicatos de profesores han amenazado con ir a la huelga si se aplican las medidas. También han iniciado una petición para recoger 100 000 firmas con el fin de revocar los planes del Gobierno. El nuevo presupuesto con estas medidas se enviará al Parlamento antes del 20 de febrero, y los sindicatos podrían anunciar fechas de huelga para marzo o junio.
