Los profesores de Portugal reciben ayuda – nivel 3

Un municipio cercano a Lisboa, Portugal, está ofreciendo viviendas asequibles específicamente para profesores que se desplazan largas distancias.

Para hacer frente a la crisis de la vivienda, el Ayuntamiento de Cascais anunció que ofrecerá 105 viviendas con alquileres más bajos para atraer y retener a profesores con talento. En la actualidad, hay cuatro viviendas disponibles de inmediato, con capacidad para 16 profesores, y pronto estarán listos ocho pisos más, que ofrecerán espacio para 24 educadores más. Estas viviendas se encuentran en localidades como Bicesse, Cobre, Tires y Torres, y están situadas en instituciones asociadas al ayuntamiento, como el Monasterio de Santa Maria do Mar, que puede alojar a 44 profesores. El alquiler de estos alojamientos oscila entre 150 y 400 euros al mes. Además, el ayuntamiento tiene previsto ofrecer alojamientos temporales para profesores que cubran ausencias de corta duración, con alquileres de entre 275 y 400 euros al mes.

Esta iniciativa pretende garantizar que el coste de la vivienda no obstaculice la contratación de educadores cualificados en la región.
