Se produjo un gran incendio en el supermercado New World de Auckland, Nueva Zelanda. Los bomberos trabajaron durante 10 horas para detener el fuego.
El supermercado estaba recibiendo reparaciones y una nueva zona para pedidos online. Es probable que el incendio se iniciara en la parte superior de la tienda, donde estaban trabajando unos albañiles. Aún no está claro el motivo del incendio.
El edificio está muy dañado. Ahora lo examinarán expertos en seguros e ingenieros. Comprobarán si el edificio se puede arreglar o si hay que derribarlo. Construir uno nuevo puede llevar años.
