Una tela de araña es una red que hacen las arañas. La red es pegajosa. Las arañas la utilizan para atrapar moscas, escarabajos y otros animales.
La red es muy fuerte. Está hecha de seda. La seda es cinco veces más fuerte que el acero. Los científicos estudian las telas de araña. Es posible que en el futuro ayuden a construir.
Además, los científicos estudian otras cosas. Un programa informático hace un modelo en 3D de una red. Lo transforma en música. Los científicos creen que las arañas pueden oír esta música. Es muy inusual. Las personas no pueden oír estos sonidos. Las arañas sí.
Los científicos esperan entender algún día a las arañas.
