Los investigadores observan a los chimpancés durante cuatro años. Siguen a los chimpancés y ven lo que comen cuando están enfermos o heridos. Toman esas plantas y las prueban. Creen que esto puede ayudar a encontrar nuevos medicamentos.
El estudio demuestra que muchas plantas detienen las bacterias y ayudan con el dolor. Esto significa que los chimpancés saben qué plantas pueden ayudarles. Son inteligentes.
