Shein dejó de vender todas las muñecas sexuales y productos para adultos después de que la gente en Francia se enfadara por las muñecas que parecían niños.
El ministro de Economía francés dijo que Shein no podría vender en Francia si esto volvía a ocurrir. La empresa dijo que había castigado a los vendedores y que había establecido normas más estrictas para impedir este tipo de productos. El responsable francés de protección de la infancia dijo que comprar estas muñecas es peligroso y puede dar lugar a delitos.
Shein también tiene previsto abrir una tienda en París, pero algunas personas protestaron ante el edificio. La empresa dijo que retiró los productos rápidamente y que está comprobando lo ocurrido para asegurarse de que no vuelva a ocurrir.
