Una empresa científica de EE.UU. dice haber fabricado tres lobos huargos. Estos animales se extinguieron hace mucho tiempo.
Los científicos utilizaron ADN de lobos grises y le añadieron partes de antiguos lobos huargos. Después, crearon crías de lobo con este nuevo ADN. Los animales tienen ahora unos meses. Algunos científicos dicen que no son lobos huargos de verdad. Dicen que la empresa sólo modificó un poco los lobos grises. Los animales de verdad también tienen bichos especiales dentro del cuerpo y actúan a su manera. Estas cosas faltan en los nuevos animales. Así que los científicos no están de acuerdo con la empresa.
La empresa quiere que la gente hable de su trabajo. También quiere ganar más dinero. Pero algunas personas dicen que debemos proteger la naturaleza ahora y no intentar recuperar animales del pasado.
