Recientemente, personas negras de muchos estados de EEUU recibieron mensajes de texto racistas. Esto les hizo sentirse preocupados y ansiosos. Estos mensajes contenían palabras hirientes sobre los negros y decían que debían presentarse en una plantación para trabajar.
Los mensajes eran anónimos, por lo que no está claro quién está detrás de ellos. Las autoridades están investigando el caso.
La fiscal general de Luisiana, Liz Murrill, fue una de las que recibió el mensaje, aunque es blanca. Monae Miller, publicista de Atlanta, dijo que también había recibido uno y que le había sorprendido.
