Kate, la Princesa de Gales británica, ha anunciado recientemente que se está sometiendo a quimioterapia preventiva debido al descubrimiento de un cáncer tras una importante operación abdominal en enero.
La esposa del príncipe Guillermo, de 42 años, describió el diagnóstico como una gran conmoción. Esta revelación se suma a los recientes problemas de salud a los que se enfrenta la familia real británica, ya que el rey Carlos también se está sometiendo a un tratamiento contra el cáncer. La intervención quirúrgica inicial de Kate fue un éxito, pero las pruebas posteriores revelaron la presencia de cáncer.
