La policía de Río de Janeiro, Brasil, lucha contra una gran banda de narcotraficantes. Mueren muchas personas: 60 hombres y 4 policías.
La banda vive en favelas. Las favelas son zonas pobres con casas pequeñas. Utilizan coches, helicópteros y muchas armas. Se llevan a algunas personas y encuentran mucha droga. Algunas personas van al hospital. El jefe de Río de Janeiro dice que es el mayor trabajo policial de la historia. La gente de la ciudad tiene miedo. Algunas escuelas cierran y los autobuses arden.
Las Naciones Unidas y los grupos de derechos humanos dicen que esta lucha es mala. Quieren que la policía explique lo que ocurre.
