Protestas en Polonia – nivel 2

En Polonia, una mujer embarazada llamada Dorota murió porque los médicos no le permitieron interrumpir su embarazo.

Polonia tiene leyes estrictas contra el aborto, lo que ha provocado grandes protestas en los últimos años. La semana pasada, miles de personas protestaron tras la muerte de Dorota. Los activistas afirmaron que varias mujeres embarazadas murieron debido a las restricciones al aborto. Dorota murió de un shock séptico cuando rompió aguas en la vigésima semana de embarazo. Su marido dijo que los médicos no les dijeron que era posible interrumpir el embarazo. Otra mujer, Izabela, también murió de shock séptico en la 22ª semana de embarazo.

En Polonia, los médicos no quieren practicar abortos, ni siquiera en los casos en que es necesario para la salud de la mujer. Más del 70% de los polacos piensan que la estricta ley es peligrosa para la vida y la salud de las mujeres.
