El Ártico es muy frío, pero se está calentando rápidamente. Este cambio es malo para animales como el caribú. También es malo para las plantas.
Algunas plantas ahora crecen más. Estas plantas se llaman arbustos. También ocupan más espacio. Los caribúes no encuentran tan fácilmente su comida, como los líquenes. También les cuesta moverse. A veces los caribús necesitan correr rápido. Pero los arbustos grandes son un problema. La gente del norte necesita al caribú. Cazan caribús para alimentarse. El caribú también es importante en su cultura.
El cambio climático no va a ocurrir en el futuro. Ya está aquí. Las personas y los animales lo sienten cada día.
