Protesta contra el turismo en Barcelona – nivel 2

Unas 3.000 personas protestaron en Barcelona contra el exceso de turistas en la ciudad.
Estas protestas ya se produjeron en las Islas Canarias y en Mallorca. Más de 150 grupos se unieron a las protestas y acordonaron algunos hoteles y terrazas de restaurantes. Barcelona es la ciudad más visitada de España. Quieren reducir el turismo antes de la ajetreada temporada de verano. Algunas personas creen que la ciudad debería centrarse en negocios más justos y reducir el turismo. Barcelona recibe unos 32 millones de visitantes al año, muchos en cruceros.
La ciudad tiene previsto aumentar la tasa turística a 4 euros por persona a partir de octubre. También tiene previsto suprimir unas 10.000 licencias de pisos turísticos en los próximos cinco años para contribuir a la crisis inmobiliaria y hacer viviendas para las personas que viven en la ciudad. Muchas ciudades del mundo luchan por reducir los malos efectos del turismo de masas en la vida local.
