El Castillo de Norwich abre de nuevo – nivel 1

El Castillo de Norwich tiene 900 años. Se construyó en 1121. Tras una gran remodelación de 27,5 millones de libras, vuelve a abrir sus puertas el 13 de agosto de 2025. El castillo se llama ahora Palacio del Pueblo.
Por primera vez, se puede acceder a los cinco pisos, desde el sótano hasta la cima. Un nuevo ascensor ayuda a las sillas de ruedas y a los cochecitos a llegar al tejado. Dentro del castillo, hay habitaciones que parecen estancias reales normandas. Los visitantes pueden ver muebles, luces y espectáculos de láser en el gran vestíbulo. También hay una nueva galería con más de 900 objetos antiguos del Museo Británico.
Hace mucho tiempo, Norwich era muy rica gracias al comercio de la lana, y la gente la llama la segunda ciudad de Inglaterra.
