En Nigeria, algunas granjas recogen veneno de escorpión para venderlo.
Muhammad Usman tiene una granja con muchos escorpiones. Tiene más de 10.000 animales. Recoge cuidadosamente su veneno. Lo guarda en un frigorífico. La gente utiliza el veneno como medicina y producto de belleza. Es muy caro. ¡Un galón cuesta 10 millones de dólares! Pero conseguir veneno es difícil. Se necesitan muchos escorpiones para fabricar incluso un poco de veneno.
Un científico dice que ahora una nueva tecnología puede fabricar veneno en un laboratorio. Esto puede hacer que el veneno de escorpión sea más barato en el futuro. Pero Usman sigue recolectando veneno. Le gustaría venderlo por mucho dinero.
