Las fuertes lluvias provocan grandes inundaciones en la ciudad mercado de Mokwa, Nigeria. Muchas personas mueren. El agua destruye muchas casas.
El agua está muy alta y la gente lo pierde todo. No tienen comida, ni ropa, ni casa. Mueren más de 150 personas, y muchas más no tienen dónde dormir ahora. El ejército y los equipos de rescate están ayudando. Algunas personas siguen desaparecidas. La gente está asustada. Necesitan comida, agua y un lugar seguro donde quedarse. Llega algo de ayuda, pero aún no es suficiente. Muchas personas siguen esperando ayuda.
La lluvia forma parte de la estación lluviosa, pero ahora las tormentas son peores. Los científicos dicen que se debe al cambio climático.
