Las setas crecen del café – nivel 1

Una empresa belga cultiva setas a partir de posos de café. Los posos de café son restos de café. Los tienes después de hacer café. Suelen ser residuos.

La empresa recibe cada mes 5,5 toneladas de posos de café de las cafeterías. Los trabajadores mezclan los posos con esporas de hongos. Luego los hongos crecen dentro de pequeñas bolsas.

Las setas necesitan 15 días para crecer. A continuación, los trabajadores recogen las setas. Vacían las bolsas.

Utilizan el material para hacer tejas aislantes. Las baldosas aislantes protegen un lugar. Para 2025, la empresa tiene previsto fabricar 13 toneladas de tejas al mes. El plan es una buena forma de utilizar menos plástico.
