Los vídeos muestran cómo ella intentaba alejarse lentamente mientras los agentes tiraban de la puerta. Entonces, un agente le disparó y el coche se estrelló.

Muchas personas en la ciudad se sienten enojadas y conmocionadas. El presidente y los líderes del gobierno defienden al agente. Dicen que la mujer intentó herir a los agentes con su coche. Dicen que el agente temía por su vida y quería protegerse a sí mismo y a los demás. El gobierno califica a la mujer de peligrosa.

El alcalde de Minneapolis se enfadó mucho. Dijo que el agente había hecho un uso peligroso de su autoridad y pidió a los agentes de inmigración que abandonaran la ciudad.
